What is Safe Haven for Cats?
Safe Haven for Cats is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter for cats in NC. They continue to provide forever homes to cats in need. It’s where I found my cat, Jasper, and ever since he has filled my home with so much love and joy. They are also partnered with Raleigh’s first cat cafe, Purr Cup Cafe. A place where you can grab a coffee and play with cats who are available for adoption.
How did this Collection get Started?
Purr Cup Cafe featured an adoptable cat each week on Instagram to encourage works of art. At the end of each week, they showcase all of the cat’s fan art. It is a great way to build a community but also gain a spotlight for the featured cat in hopes to help them find a good fur-ever home.
